Lilly Resident Research Award - Residents that are currently in training or Research Fellows that have produced a scientific paper summarizing work from a recent research study that was completed during residency can apply for the Lilly Resident Research Award. A total of five awards will be presented during the next APA annual meeting.

PMRTP Travel Awards – The Program for Minority Research Training in Psychiatry selects ten travel award winners designated as “Mini-Fellows” to attend the APA annual meeting.  The winners could include medical students or psychiatry residents.

PMRTP Medical Student Research Training Experiences – Information is available about the summer research training experiences for medical students.  Members of minority groups currently in medical school can receive funding for three to four months to develop and implement a summer research training project that would be completed under the guidance of a mentor.  Funding is also available during other times of the year such as a specific rotation that would allow the student to devote full time to their research training.
