Sleep Disorders Research Fellowship Program Descriptions
Fellowship Title:
Stanford Sleep Disorders Medicine Fellowship
Fellowship Description:
The Stanford Sleep Disorders has a very long history and was the first such fellowship accredited by the American Sleep Disorders Association. Our sleep fellowship is viewed internationally as the world's leading training program for sleep disorders medicine and thereby draws trainees from across the United States as well as from around the globe. Our research fellowships can be individually tailored from a variety of sub-disciplines, including normal human sleep or clinical sleep medicine (sleep-related breathing disorders, sleep-related movement disorders, sleep initiation and/or maintenance disorders, narcolepsy and other conditions of idiopathic excessive daytime sleepiness, parasomnias, pediatric sleep disorders, etc.). Many of our research fellows will have previously completed training in clinical sleep medicine; however, some opportunity to receive training in clinic sleep medicine, in addition to conducting research, can be arranged for the research fellow who desires to do so.
